ABOUT FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM COURSES

Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) are essential for any food and beverage business. The core philosophy is that anything that is ingested by a human being should be safe at the point of consumption. Following the methodology in ISO 22000 FSMS standards enables businesses to predictably and consistently assure the wholesomeness of their food products.

Certification of a Food Safety Management System to ISO 22000 demonstrates that the food business has due diligence in aligning its processes in order to produce safe and quality food products.

What is the target audience for Food Safety Management System Courses?

The courses are relevant and applicable for people working in all value chains in the food industry. These include those in agriculture, post-harvest management of crop, food processing equipment suppliers, food manufacturers, food packaging manufacturers, food distributors, food retailers, hotels and restaurants, as well as all suppliers of products and services that impact food safety directly or indirectly.

Benefits of FSMS training? Knowledge

FSMS training that is based on ISO 22000 standards will equip professionals with the knowledge needed to successfully implement a Food Safety Management System that can pass the test of a certification audit. The FSMS Auditor training is based on ISO 19011 and it equips those trained to evaluate the conformity of the management system with ISO 22000 standards and other criteria chosen by the organization itself.

What does the course cover and how is it delivered?

FSMS training features in depth coverage of the ISO 22000 FSMS standard in order to equip those trained to participate in the development and implementation of an effective FSMS. The FSMS auditor training will be offered as a separate follow up training based on ISO 19011 standard. Both are 5-day programs.
